What we collect, and why
- Visits. We count visits with Umami Cloud, a privacy-focused analytics service. It sets no cookies and stores no personal data; we see totals such as pages viewed, countries, devices and referrers, and which parts of the site are used (for example which program was opened).
- The letter. If you follow, your email address is sent to Buttondown, which sends the monthly letter on our behalf. You confirm your address first, and every letter has an unsubscribe link. Legal basis: your consent.
- Votes. Your vote is stored in our database (Supabase) with a random id kept in your browser, so you can change it. We keep a one-way, salted hash of your IP address only to limit repeated voting; the address itself is never stored.
- Preferences. Your browser stores your theme and vote locally (localStorage). This never leaves your device.
Who processes it
- Cloudflare (hosting) · Umami Cloud (analytics) · Buttondown (newsletter) · Supabase (votes). [Add data processing agreements and transfer safeguards here.]
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data at [privacy email], and complain to your data protection authority. [Retention periods.]
